Dermal fillers are injected into targeted areas of the face to add volume and smooth out wrinkles, lines, and folds. Common areas for treatment include the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds (lines around the mouth), and marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth to the chin). Before your Treatment : Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications: In the days leading up to your appointment, it's advisable to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil. These can increase the risk of bruising at the injection sites.
