Service Description

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a substance derived from the patient's own blood. It is prepared by drawing a small amount of blood from the patient and then processing it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma, which contains a high concentration of platelets, from the other blood components. Platelets are tiny cell fragments that play a crucial role in the body's natural healing process. They contain various growth factors and other bioactive proteins that help stimulate tissue repair, promote cell growth, and encourage new collagen production. It can be injected into the scalp for hair restoration, as well as applied topically or injected into the skin for facial rejuvenation and improvement of various skin conditions. Before your Treatment : Discontinue Certain Medications: Some medications and supplements, such as blood thinners (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, certain herbal supplements), may increase the risk of bruising or bleeding during the PRP procedure. Your healthcare provider will advise you on which medications to stop prior to treatment. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment to keep your skin hydrated. Hydrated skin tends to respond better to cosmetic procedures. Protect Your Skin: Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds in the days leading up to your treatment. Sunburn or excessive UV exposure can increase skin sensitivity and may interfere with the healing process after PRP treatment.
